A child with leukemia does not have time to wait. While researchers continue searching for better treatments, thousands of children around the world are fighting for their lives every single day. Some will respond to treatment. Some will not. For children whose cancer returns or becomes resistant to conventional therapies, advanced treatments such as CAR-T cell therapy and cellular immunotherapies may represent one of the last remaining hopes.
