Friends of Churchville Nature Center Fund

Churchville Nature Center sits on a 65-acre preserve adjacent to the Churchville Reservoir in Northampton Township located in Churchville, Pennsylvania. The center’s outdoor features include two miles of trails, wildlife and botanical gardens, ponds, Butterfly House, Lenape Village, bird blind, campfire pit, Pleiades Observatory, playground and picnic grove. Indoor features in the nature center include interactive exhibits, live animal displays, library, community room and gift shop. The center also utilizes several green building features that minimize the facility’s impact on the environment. A full range of year-round programs are offered to schools, scouts, youth groups, adults and families, that include outdoor classes, family events, badge programs, children’s camps, nature walks, campfire programs, and volunteer projects. Popular events include the “Rocks & Minerals Expo,” “Arthropalooza,” “Monarch Bon Voyage Party” and others.
